The labour market
Careers Connections was established in 2016 as part of the University of Iceland's HÍ21 strategy, titled 'A Strong University – A Prosperous Society,' under the theme 'Active Participation in Society and the labour market.' One of the key goals is for the University to play a leading role in advancing society by serving as a platform for new ideas and fostering vibrant collaboration between researchers, students, the business sector, institutions, and the public.
The underlying goal is to promote access to lifelong learning and emphasise students' ability to handle diverse jobs and challenges in a dynamic and technologically advanced world.
