What is an internship?
Several departments within the University offer students internships for credits as part of their studies.
The aim of internships is to train students to work under the supervision of experts in companies and institutions. Students work on predetermined projects that must be related to one of the subjects taught in the relevant department and must test the knowledge and skills that the student has acquired there.

How is the internship structured?
- Students work on defined projects at a company or institution related to their field of study, with a cooperation agreement in place.
- The student receives guidance from experts and staff.
- Generally, the usual scope is 150 hours, equivalent to 6 ECTS credits. Other combinations of credits are also possible.
- Unpaid internship
What students gain
- Students gain experience and knowledge from work directly related to their studies under the guidance of industry experts.
- Students get the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world issues.
- A bridge between theory and practice, with clear connections to the curriculum objectives of the programme.
- Students strengthen their professional network and strengthen their professional awareness
Companies benefits
- Managers of companies and institutions gain access to the latest knowledge on topics and disciplines through students.
- Easier access to future human resources
- Strengthens connections between companies and institutions with the university community
